You are probably thinking how much easier bullet points are to produce or that the audience find them easier to read. Whilst both of those statements are true, using bullet point won’t allow your audience to remember your key messages.

If you want to create an effective presentation, you need to ditch the bullets.

So what should I do instead?

You should use visuals such as images, diagrams and animations as this will engage your audience and allow them to take in all the information and key messages that are being given to them. Using visuals rather than using bullet points will not only make the presentation run a lot smoother, but will make for a memorable presentation.
